It’s been a winding road to get here but this is a little bit of it: After graduating college with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology I taught myself computers and wrote software for more than ten years. Photography has been a hobby since high school, one which I decided to pursue more intensely just to see where it would take me. Starting with simple business headshots and portraits and using social media to connect with local entrepreneurs, the business slowly grew till I was able quit my day job in the spring of 2012.

As a commercial b2b photographer I keep busy (mostly) in Indianapolis with headshots, portraits, corporate events, and project imagery for local, national, and international businesses. I also spend time making fine art photography (mostly of the beautiful detail out in the natural world).

Running the gamut from simple business portraits to unique brand photography, I’m comfortable both out in the field and in the studio. I also do custom photography for handbooks, business reports, marketing material, and editorial portraits for magazines and corporate communication.

My client list includes large global corporations such as ExactTarget, Salesforce, Walmart, Amazon, Enterprise Rental Cars, Horizon Bank, and State Farm Insurance. I also work with quite a few local and national marketing firms and directly with local small and medium sized businesses.

One thing that sets a professional photographer apart is the gear. These days consumer level cameras and lenses are incredibly capable, but the pro-level cameras, lenses, and lights I use allow me to make compelling images in environments and situations where consumer gear would completely fail.

On the side I enjoy reading (mostly sci-fi), hiking, motorcycle riding, time spent with family, TV and movie watching, and video games.

Thanks for reading. If you’d like to know more reach out, we’ll chat over coffee.
