Today's image, from a late morning walk.

I am a details guy. When I grab a lens to go for a walk it's almost always a longer lens, allowing me to pick out the details that catch my eye. Not today, this is as wide as I've got.

Here's today's image, there really wasn't anything that caught my eye on my usual route on the street, so I went down to the retention pond at the end of the block.  And, that's it, no deep thoughts today. (I'm not sure

I've been thinking lately about how we photographers never get past making the standards.  The flowing stream with the soft blurry water, the pretty girl in a field of wildflowers (with lens flair), or today's image: the mannequin through a shop window.

We took advantage of the break in the heat this morning to head out for a hike. We went to the west side of Eagle Creek, a hike that I've got up on Indy Hikes. I had a hard time picking

I had a portrait shoot and some errands to run downtown this morning, so today's image is completely nature free. Some images are so obvious you just have to stop and make the picture.  I grabbed this one with my iPhone,
