Man, I'm in a funk today. It really makes it hard to see, nothing is really all that exciting

"Photography is about light." It's a common phrase  heard often in photography circles. I (politely) disagree. Photographs should be about the same things paintings are about, which is to say not paint. Photographs should be about curiosity and emotion and story.

Didn't get out till later in the day, but it was such a beautiful day even the afternoon was pleasant.

A flowing stream has been a rare thing this year. This morning was fun, having my playground changed by a flowing stream and rainwater dripping from the leaves.
