Noticing – July 24, 2012
I worked from the Speak Easy this morning and took a quick walk on the Monon Trail while I was in Broad Ripple.
The interesting depth of field in this image is created by using a LensBaby Composer with the Edge 80 optic. It’s a fun lens to play with, but a little bit of a challenge to use on a walk since it’s not incredibly versatile, sort of a one trick pony. It’s an 80mm 2.8 prime lens (so not particularly fast) but being able to tilt the lens allows for the interesting depth of field seen in this image.
